Course Description:

The course is a comprehensive safety program specifically designed for workers in the construction industry safety training as an orientation to occupational safety and health for employees as covered in OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers are required to get additional training on the specific hazards of their work.
Training course offered at Certifications will fulfill the requirements to receive the 30 hour construction industry completion card from NASP.

This course contains the training modules recommended by OSHA. Students will be trained about the specific hazards at the work sites. Our training course contains specific module quizzes at the end to test the knowledge of the students. Students will be able to meet the general industry standards established by OSHA.

§ Electrical safety standards.

§ Hazard communication – HAZCOM Program

§ Hazard waste operations and emergency response procedures –HAZWOPER

§ Permit-Required Confined Space Entry

§ Excavation, Trenching and Soil Mechanics

§ Safety and Health Programs

§ Powered Industrial vehicles

§ Welding, Cutting, and Brazing

Quizzes and Test

The pass rate for the module quiz is 70%. Students are required to get the minimum pass rate to move forward in the course.
There is a final exam at the end of the course where students must also acquire 70% pass rate to receive full credit. The final exam is to test the knowledge of the students and the questions will be based on the information covered throughout the training course.

A student has 3 opportunities to pass the final exam if required.

Course Certificate:

Students will receive the NASP certificate of completion 30 hours OSH coursesd after successfully completing the course.
